About
A weekly reading of who owns enterprise AI.
Enterprise AI Jobs tracks enterprise AI leadership roles at Global 2000 companies: the roles companies post and the people they appoint to own AI, and reads each mandate for what it says about how the company organizes the AI decision. It is presented by Arcana Research.
Our coverage
We cover enterprise AI leadership roles at Global 2000 companies. Every covered company is on a reviewed list under its exact name, and subsidiary records keep the employer’s name. Coverage is growing: we do not yet have records for every company we cover.
What is counted
- Roles posted publicly whose mandate is ownership of enterprise AI: Chief AI Officer, Head of AI, VP AI, Head of Generative AI, AI transformation, AI Center of Excellence, AI governance and responsible-AI leads.
- Appointments and departures made public by the company, by the person (including a public LinkedIn post), or in trade press.
- Only what the source states. Reporting line, budget ownership, and scope (pilots versus production) are recorded verbatim. When a source does not say, the record says not stated.
- Every record links to its public source and shows the date it was captured and, when available, the date it was posted. Status is re-checked weekly; when we cannot tell, it says unknown.
What is never counted
- Anything behind a login: no private messages, recruiter conversations, or applicant-tracking exports.
- Salary estimates. A salary appears only when the listing prints it, and then only verbatim.
- Names without a public source. If no public source names the person, the record stays at role level.
- Inferred fields. No reporting line from an org chart, no headcount guessed from press coverage.
- Applications, candidate profiles, or employer accounts. This is not a job board.
Who publishes it
Arcana Research studies how enterprises buy, deploy, and govern AI. Enterprise AI Jobs is its weekly read on the people side of that question: who is being handed the mandate, and with what scope. Newly appointed leaders are invited to the Enterprise AI Pulse, Arcana's quarterly benchmark.
How to send a correction
Reply to any issue with the record, the correction, and a public link that supports it. A correction that changes a record is noted on the record with the date. A hire we missed is welcome the same way: send the public announcement or listing URL.
Cadence
Weekly. A thin week produces a short issue. Empty sections are omitted, never padded.
